Merissa Lombardo’s credits and projects cover award winning film, interior design, arts and photography collaborations. Her Set Decoration and Production Design credits span both Independent and Studio films. Recent credits include Set Decoration for Martin McDonagh’s Academy Award nominated, “Three Billboards Outside of Ebbing Missouri,” Antoine Fuqua’s, “The Magnificent Seven,” Luca Guadagnino’s remake of the beloved cult classic, "Suspiria,” and most currently Josh Boone’s latest horror version of the beloved comic, “XMen: New Mutants.”  She has worked as a Production Designer on numerous commercials, documentaries, music videos and shorts.

Photography and large scale installation projects include design work with The Aperture Foundation, Instagram, Photography Book Collective Spaces Corners, and private and publics residences.

Merissa grew up in Vermont and studied sculpture at Bard College in the Hudson Valley. She has travelled and worked all over the United States and Internationally in countries such as Hungary, Germany, Italy, and multiple US States from New York to New Mexico and many places in between. She loves the adventure and exploration of travel and the experiences that working in such a variety of environments brings to the design process.

She is based between Upstate New York and Asheville North Carolina.
